Jean-Christophe Ducret
Jean-Christophe Ducret was initially attracted by Jazz and other forms of improvised music. Until 1990 he studied jazz guitar at the Conservatoire of Montreux.
He then turned to classical music and entered the class of Beat Aeschlimann at the Conservatoire of Lausanne. He finished his professional classes with Dagoberto Linhares.
He received other impetus from Hubert Käppel, Jury Clormann, Agnello Desiderio and Dusan Bogdanovic, whom he encountered at different master classes in Europe. One of his focuses of interest is ensemble playing and guitar chamber music.
In addition to his concert activity he teaches at the "La Vallée De Joux" School of Music.
